For the past few years the tantalising promise of truly transformative technologies has swirled around the Data Investment Management category. The entries in 2017 revealed that we are finally beginning to grasp the potential of AI, AR, voice-activated tech and visual recognition to deliver meaningful customer experiences and genuine value for our clients.
Our shortlist reflected the incredible variety of projects from large-scale national and international marketing and brand campaigns, to highly targeted executions of open data integration into real-time location specific bidding. Regardless of size and scale, the winners all demonstrated a sharp focus on applying their technological innovation to a clearly defined customer demand. Our winners all demonstrated a holistic understanding of the needs and preferences of their target audiences and showed that they carefully considered time, place, environment and experience in their solutions.
Our Crème de la Crème winner, Google Home of the Whopper, delivered on the promise of a genuinely big idea enabled by the application of some really ground-breaking technology and data integration. Embracing the potentially disruptive growth of the campaign beyond its initial conception was a great testament to the confidence, genuinely innovative thinking and client trust of the agency team.
