Vodafone tops first BrandZ ranking of UK’s most valuable brands
WPP and Kantar Millward Brown have published the inaugural BrandZ™ Top 50 Most Valuable UK Brands ranking. Vodafone, with a value of $27.3bn, takes the top spot, followed by HSBC, Shell, BT and BP. The list includes some of the most famous brands in the world, and reflects the UK’s role as a centre for financial services, energy exploration and communications.

Lindsay Pattison has been named as Chief Transformation Officer of WPP. In this new role Pattison will oversee WPP’s 50 global client teams and help to deliver on the Group’s core strategic priority of horizontality. Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP, said: “Our single most important task is to ensure we provide our clients with a seamlessly integrated offer. Horizontality will increasingly be reflected in the structure of the Group itself, as well as our client teams, country managers and organic collaboration between our companies. Lindsay will play a key role in that project as we continue down the path of greater integration.”
